About Me
My work is rooted in a deep belief that people grow best when they are supported, understood, and connected to something meaningful. After completing my postgraduate studies in Political Studies in 2013, I spent time in various administrative roles before realising that my true passion lay in working with people. This was affirmed during a three-month internship at an NGO in Tanzania, where I worked across cultures and facilitated adult English lessons. It was there that my guiding vision took shape: to be a bridge that helps people move from where they are to where they are capable of being.
Since returning to South Africa, I’ve had the opportunity to work across church, non-profit, education and sport contexts, gaining hands-on experience in building teams, developing systems and walking alongside people in their growth journeys. During three and a half years at a local church in Stellenbosch, I helped establish the Operations and Communications team, mentored university students, and facilitated workshops and training spaces. Through an opportunity offered by a close friend, I also became involved in workshop design and facilitation with a national sports team, as well as coaching sessions with individual sportspeople, which deepened my understanding of performance, resilience and purpose.
I hold a Level 1 Performance Coaching qualification and have completed a short course in Change Management. My five years working within a non-profit organisation in the education space shaped Atrium’s strong emphasis on community investment, the belief that true development is not only about individual growth, but about helping people and organisations find meaningful ways to give back and contribute to healthier, more connected communities. Through Atrium, I bring these threads together: people development, organisational growth, and social impact.
